Self Concept
Self Concept has been created for almost 3 years now and still up and running. In the resources category, beside the Theme Zone we are the longest running boards and has not been closed down once (maybe for a very short amount of time due to the transition from board to my database and back to board). In the last few years, our primary goal was to provides top notch quality resources and I believe we are the top 2 resources boards in terms of quality including the ZBTZ. True, we do not have a big selection to choose from but every skins/themes that are created are different from each other and innovative unlike other forums that has big selection yet low quality and are similar to each other. Our activity has not been great because that is not our main focus, for that reason I think that was the biggest downfall for Self Concept. I usually don't mind that but I've come to realized that Self Concept is probably the most underrated and under appreciated boards out there. I've spent countless time creating skins and themes for people to use but so far barely anyone recognize this board. It is such a disappointment to see such attitudes toward this board. A board with almost 11,000 members yet barely pump out 20 posts per day, there is something wrong with that number. Maybe one day people will come to realize how much this place as given to other board and appreciate this board more. I hope that day will come before I retire or move on from Zathyus Networks which I can see in the near future if no progress are being made.

It has been great going here here everyday and looking at your themes. SC is certainly the most underrated forum out there, and if you want top notch 10/10 amazing themes, this forum still has more than any other.

I remember when I was support staff here and how everyone was active and now it has died down so much. I miss the old days and I miss being able to visit SC everyday. The board still has the best themes and skins so this is still the best place for resources in my opinion. I appreciate everything you do Tue.

You make a great point. Self Concept doesn't tend to receive everything it deserves. You work hard on this place and I only hope that it can improve even more.

You're quite right. I never truly really appreciated the amount of hard work and effort you put into maintaining this community. I've tried to raise my activity level, but it's hard when almost no new topics are being made.

Yep I agree with Pandemonium. I really do appreciate all your hard and wonderful work on Zathyus and this forum, but I just don't have that spark to be more active.

I have much faith in this community. I've noticed the lack a bit too, and I just made the decision to devote any and whatever time I have to be around.

Nice blog entry, i've been here ever since you first opened. You need to publicize the community more, advertise. Yes the resources are amazing but if people don't hear about it, then.. it's all gone to waste.
