I think Self Concept should be a full-resource forum as it has the members and the popularity to. Many people have said the same thing and I think it would be best for both Tue and the forum. With it being a full-resource forum, he will get more attention with his work. What do you guys think? |

I think it would be more work on the staff, but it isn't a bad idea considering there is hardly any other resource forums out there now-a-days to pose a threat. |

Honestly - look at it this way. Self Concept just revamped; sure, with the newfound hype, it will be active for a few days. But who is realistically going to be active on a database board? o_O

I'm not totally against the idea but there are a few issues that might prevent this from happening. 1. Where do we get the staff from? I do not want to reuse people that are staffed at pretty much every forum out there. Finding a group of staff that are willing to do whatever it takes to make the forum successful is very hard. 2. We cannot be sure that the forum will be successful or not. Take the last time that SC was a forum for example, a lot of people said they will be active and will be thrilled to have SC as a forum but it ended up a disaster. I do not want SC to be like every other forums and keep opening and closing. 3. The current state of SC CAN be a community, we have enough forums for member to take parts and be involve. The only different is that we don't have review forum or documentation. |

I'm against the idea of making SC a full resource board because the idea is seriously epic phail...at least nowadays. I would however suggest SC have more of a design focus. We all know Tue is a great designer and I think we have a lot of designers here as well, so that would be fitting. |

I think it would be a good idea, as long as the resources are pumped out at a reasonable rate. |

It's a good idea but I'm not sure if we can 'pump' out resources so often, hence losing the interest in members. |

I'm against the idea of becoming a full resource forum. As the forum continues to be a small database, the quality of the skins can be maintained. The reputation of S-C is high quality skins. If the forum is expanded, Tue and the team would have to spend more time in other areas, resulting in lower quality skins. |

Well, if we were to ever become a full resource forum, we would never pump out more skins to be honest from what I understand. I am sure our skinners would go at the same rate they do now, just like it was last time we were a full resource board a few years back. I guess we would have a more more skinners making skins but that is it. So I don't think quality of skins would ever be an issue. Maybe a solution is slowly add a few forums here and there and see how it goes. |

Looks like a full resource board to me. I see theme, skin, and graphic databases. I see design discussion and battles. :ermm: Though, I don't see how it would be beneficial for Tue or the forum, or how he'd get more attention than he already does. That's sort of a big statement for no support whatsoever. :hmm: Self Concept is great how it is now. |

I hope by resource forum you mean design resource forum. I don't want Self Concept to go any other way, just stick how it is right now. The community can grow and the resources are here. I don't want to see anything other than design and community here. |

I really like the direction that Self Concept is heading right now. The forum is very minimal but affective unlike most full resources that has a lot of forums but empty. We have all the forums we needs for members to become active. |
