We're taking some survey to see where Self Concept stands right now and where we should be; so please fill out this survey questions so we know what to concentrate on in terms of providing more efficient services.

Where does Self Concept rank in term of skin/theme/graphics compared to other places? It's not as high, because there are not as many themes in the database as Outline, IR, or TZ. Rate the quality of InvisionFree skins (0-10,10 being the highest). And why Dunno I don't use skins so never looked sorry :p Rate the quality of ZetaBoards themes (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? 7. The themes look topnotch. Do you think there are enough skins/themes for member to choose? Nope. What type of skin/themes do you want to see more? Some dark EFS themes. Do you prefer more themes in the database with less quality or less themes with higher quality? I'd prefer more themes in the databases. Rate the quality of our graphics (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? 8; you have a lot of good graphics in the database. What type of graphic do you want to see more? Just more all together What do you think should be improved at Self Concept overall? I would say around a 5. Most are for skins already created and others are just old. Althouhg, there's a few good ones here and there. •What type of graphic do you want to see more? More forum folders. •What do you think should be improved at Self Concept overall? I think that SelfConcept should start hosting some kind of competitions and have staff post discussion topics which engage the audience. SC hasn't really been active and I think it has do a bit on the staff's part since the dedication of the staff to a community can sometimes also decide the dedication of members. Where does Self Concept rank in term of skin/theme/graphics compared to other places? I myself don't really need themes but because of the small database puts it behind a little. I might check this place about 3 forums in or so. This place does appeal to me for graphics should I ever need them, however. Rate the quality of InvisionFree skins (0-10,10 being the highest). And why? Probably a 9. There's a decent amount of most/all are of very high quality making it an ideal database. Rate the quality of ZetaBoards themes (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? 8. The themes seem to come in slowly, (granted they take longer) but they're always of greater quality because of the flexibility of ZB. Do you think there are enough skins/themes for member to choose? For the most part, yeah. Obviously, the database isn't THAT big yet but because of the high quality themes produced it shouldn't be too much of a problem. What type of skin/themes do you want to see more? (This can be OSS, EFS, Light, Dark, etc) Dark, EFS skins/themes preferably. Nothing overboard, but dark themes can look really nice given the designer. Do you prefer more themes in the database with less quality or less themes with higher quality? Less themes with higher quality. Of course, there should always be the highest priority to produce those high quality products. Rate the quality of our graphics (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? Pretty much all graphics match a specific theme here so there's not much variation there. But, they are pretty nice so a 7. What type of graphic do you want to see more? None specifically. But at least you know time has been spent on them, plus most of them come with a full graphics pack. Rate the quality of InvisionFree skins (0-10,10 being the highest). And why? About a 9. As said above. Most of them come with a full graphics pack, you know that time has been put in and they are not all that simple. They are really nice skins. Rate the quality of ZetaBoards themes (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? I'm not to sure what to say about this one. Because I pretty much dislike Zetaboards. However Self Concept was mainly based on Tue's portfolio. Recently before the conversion you turned in to a resource forum. But the 'themes' that are in the database are well put together. Do you think there are enough skins/themes for member to choose? To be honest, yes. Because members prefer to have custom themes/skins now. I have also noticed that is changing well. As said above once again. You might not have many skins and themes. But at least you know you have put time in to the design and not rushed it just to make the database look amazing. What type of skin/themes do you want to see more? (This can be OSS, EFS, Light, Dark, etc) Does not bother me in the slightest to be honest. It may not have as many Skins/Themes, but I think that SC's are of much better Quality than any other Website's. I'm actually currently using 'Maya', on my Board. I really do love Self Conept. Ten for effort, 8 for exclusivity, and a 7 for the submitted amount of resources. Rate the quality of InvisionFree skins (0-10,10 being the highest). And why? I rate it a 10 seeing you're probably the most exclusive board around with high quality skins. Rate the quality of ZetaBoards themes (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? Same reason as above applies: 10/10. Do you think there are enough skins/themes for member to choose? I do think there can be a much larger amount of skins and themes, but this takes time, dedication and sometimes the right staffers. What type of skin/themes do you want to see more? (This can be OSS, EFS, Light, Dark, etc) OSS, light schemed but rounded. Do you prefer more themes in the database with less quality or less themes with higher quality? Less themes with higher quality. Rate the quality of our graphics (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? Pretty much no suggestions to this. I like the graphics, some are even an inspiring. 10/10. What type of graphic do you want to see more? Forum Material mainly. What do you think should be improved at Self Concept overall? You should hire some more staffers and advertise some more. Release more exclusive works, and keep hosting competitions. This takes time though. |

Almost all of the resources here seem very usable, which makes the databases here better than most other resource boards. Rate the quality of InvisionFree skins (0-10,10 being the highest). And why? 10. They're original, creative, and well designed. Rate the quality of ZetaBoards themes (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? 10. Some of them don't have the same level as the IF skins, but ZB is much newer so the quality expectations aren't as high. Do you think there are enough skins/themes for member to choose? Yes, because so many are so well designed. What type of skin/themes do you want to see more? (This can be OSS, EFS, Light, Dark, etc) All types of ZB themes. Do you prefer more themes in the database with less quality or less themes with higher quality? Higher quality. Rate the quality of our graphics (0-10, 10 being the highest). And why? 9. Not at the same amazing level as the skins/themes but still exceptional. What type of graphic do you want to see more? Team Icons/Pips, but as long as there are graphic sets for all of the themes/skins, it should be fine. What do you think should be improved at Self Concept overall? More of a design focus for all members. Creating possibly design groups and holding more competitions. Basically helping members to improve on their design more. |

Plus everything is of high quality, matches the skin/theme well, and just look good. # What type of graphic do you want to see more? - Graphics that aren't just the posting buttons. Team icons/pips, folders, the smaller graphics instead of text based - that kind of stuff. # What do you think should be improved at Self Concept overall? - I'm not sure to be honest. Events could help build a small community here. Advertising and more exclusive works from many different names (even though your skins/themes are great Tue) would attract more members and build a community. But more themes would probably also see an increase in the amount of boards using the SC themes. So it really depends on what you're looking for at Self Concept. I'm fine with the way Self Concept is. :P |

There are never going to be enough skins/themes for members to choose because people are always going to want something unique for their forum and then others will be thinking the same thing. 5. There should be new topics being made every few days with the older ones being archived. |
