Self Concept Notice

Posts: 588 Group: SC Team Manager Member #130 Joined: April 8, 2006	A lot of people have been talking about our community (or lack of community) and the lack of dedication on the part of the staff/administration. The truth is, this forum is here to provide you with some of the best resources you will find on Zetaboards. Tue is an incredible themer/skinner, and take advantage of all of his released work. As far as the lack of administration and staffing, that is not an issue. This is a resource forum on auto-pilot. I have cleaned up all of our resource databases (Themes, Skins, and Graphics). Also for the time being, or until further notice, the battle forum and the request forum are offline. They really do not serve a point any longer. I hope everyone continues to use our resources, and feel free to continue to submit themes and graphics. -Self Concept.

Self Concept Dead! Posts: 57 Group: Members+ Member #11,369 Joined: November 24, 2008 Browser Firefox 3.0	Self Concept still lacks the communication of members and the activity of the members. Only about 4-6 members probably come here everyday just to get resources, then they never come back because "there's no point in staying in a in-active community". I still come here for the community but there's nothing to talk about as long as people never make new topics or reply to topics. I also come here for the resources but as much as for the community. Forums' need to be active in order to continue to be active and Tue needs to be online on his own forum or it will continue to die out. Tue only seems to go to the ZetaBoards Theme Zone most of the time. But he never comes online to manage his own board, so it starts to die out. Members and staff members need to submit more resources so we can become active again like the old Self Concept. :tsk:

Posts: 588 Group: SC Team Manager Member #130 Joined: April 8, 2006	Well, it is perfectly fine for people to come for the resources and leave. Hence the reason the 10 post rule has been taken away. Unfortunately, most of the SC staff no longer create themes such as Tue. This forum is now on autopilot. Meaning Tue has put all of his themes and graphics on SC, and he is no longer making them (as far as I understand). He has no need to come here to be honest unless he wants to. We have moderators here that are doing their job. Maybe in the near future we will go out and talk to some themers to release some themes here, and maybe acquire a few exclusive themes. But for right now, I think this is the state SC will stay in for a bit.

I'm going to convert them to IPB, vB, and phpBB. I'm currently working with chawk (Kman) on converting his skins and selling them. Could I do the same with a select few of Tue's?
